Each year, BGC and Cantor Fitzgerald donate 100% of the global revenues generated on Charity Day to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and dozens of charities around the world.

Charity Day has raised approximately $125 million globally since its inception. Today, Colgate-Palmolive, in partnership with the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), kicked off its annual Oral Health Month campaign with a special launch event at Los Angeles’s Plaza Mexico. Today at the 10th Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in New York City, the Ad Council in partnership with Year Up, the Employment Pathways Project, ConPRmetidos, MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, New Options Project, and Opportunity Nation launched the national “Grads of Life” campaign to help businesses fill more than 4 million vacant positions within the United States with qualified workers. The launch took place during CGI’s inaugural in-person meeting of the new Youth Employment Action Network attended by both business and non-profit leaders.

Desde abril, Feeding America se ha asociado con las compañías lácteas y los granjeros productores de leche para el Proyecto Alimento: Leche para America. Esta iniciativa hace que sea fácil donar leche a las personas de la comunidad que la necesiten, gracias a un simple “clic” del “ratón” (www.lecheparaamerica.com) o un mensaje de texto ( envíe la palabra “Milk”al 27722 ). Pero todavía queda mucho más trabajo por hacer para poder entregar leche a los más de 46.5 millones de estadounidenses que reciben ayuda anualmente de Feeding America.
