With its seventh year wrapped, Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour, a free national concert series featuring a lineup of gospel greats, is designed to bring service, encouragement and entertainment to communities and emphasize the importance of giving back. This year’s nine-city tour, hosted by gospel artist/comedienne Vickie Winans, kicked off May 9 in Washington, D.C., and featured gospel music heavy-hitters Smokie Norful and son Ashton, Lecrae and John P. SuperShuttle celebrates 30 years of service this year and officially kicked off its summer-long 30 year anniversary promotion June 1. Mitch Rouse, the then owner of Yellow Cab, Los Angeles, founded SuperShuttle, the nation’s largest shared-ride airport shuttle service in 1983. Rouse got the idea when his brother-in-law ordered one of his cabs to pick up his family for a ski trip and the family couldn’t fit in a cab with all their equipment and SuperShuttle was born.

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today capped a three-day celebration of veterans with a $350,000 gift to the Fisher House Foundation at Reagan National Airport (DCA) in Washington, D.C. The airline kicked off its military salute in Atlanta on Friday, Nov. 9, with the dedication of the “Spirit of Freedom,” a Boeing 757 honoring men and women who currently serve or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including more than 10,000 Delta employees.

Jointly hosted by several government departments including the National Tourism Administration of China, the General Administration of Sport of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the 14th West Lake International Expo Hangzhou, China officially kicked off on October 13.
