The ClearSight system is a noninvasive monitor that provides clinicians access to valuable blood volume and blood flow information for patients at moderate or high risk of post-surgical complications, in whom invasive monitoring would not be used.

A majority of dads in the U.S., seven out of ten, recently reported that they could use tips on how to be a better parent, according to a national survey conducted by the Ad Council. In advance of Father’s Day, WWE Superstars are inspiring dads throughout the country to get more involved in their children’s lives. A majority of U.S. (74 percent) and Canadian (67 percent) finance and accounting executives surveyed recently said they expect their companies’ compliance burden to rise in the coming years, and 48 percent and 41 percent of U.S. and Canadian executives, respectively, also anticipate the cost of compliance will increase. These are just two of the findings from the fifth edition of Benchmarking the Accounting & Finance Function: 2014, an annual study from Robert Half and Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF), the research affiliate of Financial Executives International (FEI).

In honor of Fibromyalgia Awareness Day (May 12), this video illustrates the impact fibromyalgia pain has on various aspects of a person’s daily life – including relationships, work and other activities. It is based on a survey of more than 1,200 U.S. adults diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The survey was conducted in collaboration with the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association (NFMCPA) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and funded by Pfizer.
At a ceremony today at the U.S. National Archives in Washington, D.C., Monuments Men Foundation Founder and Chairman Robert Edsel donated “Hitler Album No. 6” to the Archive, reuniting it with 39 other “Hitler Albums” recovered at the end of World War II. Chief Archivist of the United States, David Ferriero, accepted the album from the foundation and Monuments Man Harry Ettlinger. Ettlinger represents the historic group honored most recently in Sony Pictures’ THE MONUMENTS MEN, which is based on Mr. Edsel’s No.1 New York Times’ bestselling book of the same name.
