The all-star musical and fireworks extravaganza will kick off the country’s 241st birthday with performances by: iconic multi-platinum selling music legends The Beach Boys, with special guests John Stamos (drums) and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath (vocals); soul men Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi of The Blues Brothers; legendary Motown stars The Four Tops; THE VOICE Season 12 winner Chris Blue; acclaimed country music singer and songwriter Kellie Pickler; Grammy-nominated gospel legend Yolanda Adams; and Broadway star and two-time Tony Award-nominee Laura Osnes (BANDSTAND); with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly. Piano legend Byron Janis releases Byron Janis Live on Tour, an album of never before released live recordings of performances by the internationally celebrated pianist. It is Maestro Janis’ first release of new material in twenty years and celebrates the 70th anniversary of his very first RCA LP recording in 1947 at the age of 19 titled Bach/Liszt, Chopin. Byron Janis Live on Tour is an exclusive compilation of twelve works composed by Haydn, Chopin & Liszt. Also featured are two pieces composed for stage and screen by Janis himself, a “hot” collaboration on two pianos with Cy Coleman and, finally, a song he composed, “David’s Star,” for which his son Stefan wrote the lyrics. This album is dedicated to him, who died tragically of a heart attack in February of this year. The album is due to be released by Janis Eleven Enterprises, LTD on May 23 in honor of his 89th birthday which was celebrated on March 24, 2017. Each Volume will have a limited edition pressed vinyl release.
This release is the first of a three CD release musical journey. In the fall, Maestro Janis will release “Live from Leningrad,” a recording made in the early sixties in Russia. This was recorded unbeknownst to him while he was serving as a US Cultural Ambassador to the Soviet Union and surreptitiously presented to him nearly sixty years later. Then, just in time for the holidays, Byron Janis Live on Tour, Volume II will be available. Similar in format to Volume I, it will include a compilation of live recordings of performances of Mr. Janis from all over the world.

International music icon Jennifer Lopez will hit the stage at this year’s “Billboard Latin Music Awards” and perform new music from her highly anticipated new Spanish-language album. Last night, Las Vegas’ most buzzed-about new production MAGIC MIKE LIVE celebrated its opening night at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with a star-studded performance in its custom designed showroom, Club Domina. The show, based on the hit films Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL and conceived and co-directed by Channing Tatum, brought audiences to its feet on the first night of its open-ended run in Las Vegas.
Following the show, the cast and creative team returned to the stage for an encore performance of Fatman Scoop’s “Be Faithful,” joined by the show’s co-director and producer Channing Tatum and wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Tatum then shared a few words with the packed venue, thanking the crowd and friends and family in attendance for joining the cast and creative team for their highly-anticipated opening night performance.

This year Krakow will host the UNESCO World Heritage Committee session, the European Lotteries Congress and the European Congress of Transplantology Nurses. Adding prestige to Krakow are industry awards, with no other venue receiving the Meetings Star Award two years running. This year’s event schedule will determine the fortunes of Krakow in years to come.
According to a Polish Tourism Organisation study, Krakow is the #1 location in Poland in terms of the number of congresses and conferences. At the heart of the meetings industry is the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, which has just won its second consecutive title of best congress centre of New Europe.
