Burberry invited the world to celebrate London today, through three simultaneous live shows, blurring the physical and digital to bring the event from the runway in Hyde Park, to the new Regent Street flagship, to the world.
Over 1500 guests attended the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2013 Womenswear show at the brand’s custom-built show venue in London’s Hyde Park, including from the creative industries Sir Jonathan Ive, Thomas Heatherwick, Harvey Weinstein, Mario Testino, Anna Wintour, Samantha Cameron and Secretary of State for Culture Maria Miller. 2012 Olympians Andy Murray (with girlfriend Kim Sears), Victoria Pendleton, Pete Reed, Allyson Felix, Paralympian Jonnie Peacock and boxer Amir Khan. Perfomer Dita Von Teese and actors Gabriella Wilde, Alice Eve, Maggie Cheung, Dev Patel, Saif Ali Khan, Giorgia Surina, Do Youn Jeon, Rosalie Craig, Jeremy Irvine, Julian Ovenden, Aaron Paul and Nicolas Vaporidis. Keep Memory Alive’s 16th annual Power of Love Gala on Saturday, Feb. 18, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas brought out some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment to celebrate Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday and raise funds for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and the Muhammad Ali Center.
Highlights of the evening included a heartfelt “Happy Birthday” serenade by Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg leading the crowd in chanting “Ali” during his performance of “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and famed boxers Sugar Ray Leonard, Evander Holyfield and Tommy “Hitman” Hearns joining LL Cool J on stage for “Mama Said Knock You Out.” Stars like Sean Combs, Samuel L. Jackson, Terrence Howard and David Beckham gave personal remarks and remembrances about “The Greatest” while Lenny Kravitz, Cee Lo Green and Kelly Rowland performed for Ali and the sold-out crowd of about 2,000.

Pair Up: Join the Fight to Prevent Kidney Disease encourages women to take two simple, yet powerful actions: learn if they’re at risk for kidney disease; and spread the word about kidney disease to loved ones who also may be at risk. The launch of Pair Up coincides with the release of a national survey revealing that most Americans who care for their loved ones’ health are unaware that diabetes and high blood pressure are the leading causes of kidney disease.

Pampers, the iconic and first baby care brand to distribute disposable diapers around the globe, is turning 50! Pampers honors these 50 years of parenting by unveiling its Little Miracle Missions program, which seeks to celebrate, support and protect babies everywhere through acts of kindness to little miracles (babies) and their families, while encouraging parents to “pay it forward” and support others. On Monday, Pampers and Graham’s Foundation (an organization that provides care packages that offer both practical and emotional support for the parents of micro-preemies) began donating more than 30,000 care packages to families with babies in level-three Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the country, for the care of premature or ill newborn babies. Yesterday, Pampers continued the celebration by partnering with a variety of celebrity parents who have their own personal miracle stories. Actors Joey Lawrence and Mark Consuelos, alongside actresses Ali Larter and LaLa Anthony delivered the care packages to The Mount Sinai Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in New York City.
