NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG), NRG Yield, Inc. (NYSE: NYLD), and SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) today announced the completion of the final phase of the California Valley Solar Ranch (CVSR) photovoltaic (PV) generating facility in San Luis Obispo County, California, bringing total electric generating capacity of the plant up to 250 megawatts (AC). NRG acquired CVSR from SunPower in 2011, and the project is jointly owned by NRG Yield (48.95%). CVSR is one of the world’s largest operating solar PV power plants and will sell its electricity to Pacific Gas & Electric under two long-term power purchase agreements.

Lynn Napoli Marynowski and her younger brother Frank Napoli are as close as a big sister and little brother can be. They are an extension of their tight-knit family. As the kick off to the 2013 World Slackline Federation (WSFed) Slackline World Cup Finals taking place inside the Michael Jackson ONE Theatre on Oct. 17, Andy Lewis, the daredevil Gibbon athlete and slackliner made famous for his Super Bowl XLVI halftime show performance with Madonna, set a new world record for the longest urban highline walked. Lewis thrilled spectators by forging a 480-ft. high, 360-ft.-long slackline, running parallel to the Las Vegas Strip, rigged from two of Mandalay Bay’s resort towers.
