Continuing its long history of supporting the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, exclusive tire supplier of NASCAR’s three major national series, has launched its fifth annual “Goodyear Gives Back” charitable program benefitting the Support Our Troops® organization.
To kick off the program, Goodyear will once again transform its NASCAR race tires by replacing the “Eagle” sidewall design with “Support Our Troops” messaging on all tires used during Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This effort coincides with the launch of Goodyear’s charity auction at www.Goodyear.com/GivesBack, which features autographed NASCAR memorabilia, VIP race experiences and rides on the Goodyear Blimp.

Hold your nose. This story stinks…literally! New York is used to its fair share of interesting smells, but for the first time ever, the city had the odorous honor of hosting the Annual Odor-Eaters National Rotten Sneaker Contest, a competition that tests just how offensive sneakers can get. Ready to be judged were seven finalists, ages five to fourteen, from across the nation. They gathered at Ripley's Believe It or Not! in Times Square today wearing the decrepit and redolent rubber-soles that won them regional recognition. Only one competitor's sneakers were declared the stinkiest, and they belonged to 12 year old Jordan Armstrong from White Sands Missile Range, Las Cruces, NM.

The commemorative tires are one of a number of initiatives planned as part of this year’s program, which includes a charity auction featuring autographed NASCAR memorabilia and VIP experiences, along with at-track activities and multiple opportunities for racing fans to participate. All proceeds from the program benefit Support Our Troops®, a nonprofit nationwide organization that works to bolster the morale and well-being of America’s troops and their families.

Tyre care can be incorporated into other regular activities such as cleaning your car and filling it with petrol. That way it doesn’t feel like an extra task. You’ll maintain the quality of tyres and extend their life. The two key areas to attend to regularly are cleaning and tyre pressure. Washing your tyres with soapy water and a soft brush or sponge will keep tyres looking good. It also helps prevent cracks and other damage to the sidewall rubber. Do this whenever you wash your car. It is ideal to check tyre pressure when the tyres are cold. Do this at least once a month but more often if possible. Use a trusted gauge. The recommended tyre pressure for your tyres can be found on the tyres themselves or on the tyre placard, usually located on the body of the car, inside the driver’s door. If you’re unsure about checking tyre pressure, have a professional do it for you and show you how. Driving a car with tyres deflated or over inflated can cause long term damage to wheel alignment. Sneakers are judged on the conditions of the sole, tongue, heel, toe, laces or velcro, eyelets/grommets, overall condition and most important ODOR, by a panel that includes NASA “Master Sniffer” George Aldrich, Chemical Specialist for NASA space missions, and Rachel Herz, Ph.D., a professor at Brown University and author of The Scent of Desire and That’s Disgusting.

http://frankwyatt.com/beatles-posters-where-to-buy/ When The Beatles albums along with Beatles Posters had been very first set on CD in 1987, they had been mainly launched in stereo (although the very first four albums were launched in mono.) This signifies that the mono mixes of albums like Revolver, Rubber Soul, & Sgt. Pepper have been extremely difficult for Beatles fans to hear during the CD era.
