Celebrated Chef Gordon Ramsay took over the Las Vegas Strip Sunday as he traveled between his two newest restaurants in an appropriately themed red, double decker bus to celebrate the openings of Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace and Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Ramsay showcased the ingredients and methods that differentiate Gordon Ramsay BurGR at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from any other burgers in Las Vegas. At Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace, Ramsay introduced the traditional British Sunday Roast to the Las Vegas Strip complete with roasted prime beef rib eye, fingerling potatoes, parsnips, minted English peas and classic Yorkshire pudding.

For the first time ever, an orchestrated stampede of more than 40 horses stopped all traffic on a portion of the famous Las Vegas Strip as Shania Twain marked her arrival into Las Vegas by making a grand entrance via horseback to her new home at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Fans and visitors lined the street in front of the iconic Caesars Palace fountains to welcome Shania as The Colosseum’s newest resident artist. Cirque du Soleil presented a wholly unique and exclusive performance for the 84th Academy Awards on Oscar Sunday, February 26. The one-time-only event featured the largest Cirque cast ever assembled for a single act.
More than 50 international artists from Cirque du Soleil productions around the world converged in Los Angeles to bring the dynamic showcase to life. The act featured aerialists, Icarian acrobats, hand balancers, dancers and characters from IRIS, A Journey through the World of Cinema™ along with the 15-member Banquine team from Viva ELVIS™ in Las Vegas and a hand balancer from Zarkana™, direct from Moscow’s Kremlin State Palace Theatre. Doctors at Children’s Hospital Boston are just another step closer to securing a cure for sickle cell disease thanks to a little help from some superstar friends. More than $1 million was raised in support of their research efforts on Sunday, January 15 during the “Play Without Pain: Children’s Sickle Cell Benefit,” a partnership with international megastar Celine Dion, Caesars Entertainment, AEG Live and Children’s Hospital Boston. Held at Caesars Palace, the evening included a performance of Celine Dion’s glamorous show directed by Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich, including a touching tribute to sickle cell victims during her rendition of Billy Joel’s “Lullabye.”
