She became a cancer advocate when her brother-in-law Mike was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003 as she searched for options that would buy Mike and his family some additional time. On June 29, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will open the doors to the world’s most comprehensive and interactive attraction devoted to NASA’s 30-year Space Shuttle Program –Space Shuttle Atlantis.(SM)
