Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race returns for a third season this summer, with host Tyler Florence presiding over the cross-country culinary road trip with a brand-new twist: no longer a competition between current food truck operators as in prior seasons, this high-stakes battle is between eight teams who desperately want to be in the food truck business – they have a dream, a concept and insane culinary skills. Each three-person team is provided a vehicle for the race, but only the grand prize winner gets to keep their food truck and a $50,000 cash prize to start their dream business. From mobile mini-pies and authentic Aussie grub to specialty waffles, each team’s inspired cuisine and road strategy is put to the test in city-specific challenges that begin at a Long Beach, Calif. lighthouse and continue through the finale at the West Quoddy Lighthouse in Maine, the easternmost point of the United States. The seven-episode series premieres on Sunday, August 19th at 10pm ET/PT, after the finale of Chopped: Grill Masters, and beginning the next week will air in its regular timeslot Sundays at 9pm ET/PT.

Food Network’s long-running hit primetime series Food Network Star returns to New York City this May with fifteen talented hopefuls and completely new twists for season eight – this year, returning stars Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis move from behind the judge’s table to square off with culinary favorite Alton Brown for a three-way team competition to find the next Food Network Star, beginning with a special two-hour premiere episode on Sunday, May 13th at 9pm ET/PT. Singer Debbie Gibson, a contestant on this season’s The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC, won $50,000 during last night’s episode on behalf of her charity of choice, Children International, a U.S.-based humanitarian organization.
Children International president and CEO Jim Cook said, “Children International is ecstatic about Debbie Gibson’s big win! Her donation will help us bring lasting hope to children in India living in dire poverty.”
Gibson’s winnings didn’t come easy. She volunteered as project manager to lead her team in creating a live launch event for the new Buick Verano. A heated boardroom concluded with Gibson’s team winning the task and the prize money for charity.

Food Network’s top-rated hit Chopped All-Stars returns for a second season filled with fan-favorite chefs, unexpected ingredients, and fierce competition for a $50,000 prize for charity on Sunday, April 8th at 9pm ET/PT. In each of the five themed episodes, hosted by Ted Allen, four specially selected chefs are challenged to create three masterful courses from ingredients in the mystery basket, ranging from beef tendon and crawfish, to black beans with queso fresco and chicken feet. Tonight, The Trevor Project’s new life-saving, life-affirming public service announcement (PSA) featuring Daniel Radcliffe premiered on FOX during the network’s hit series “Glee.” The 30-second spot, which aired at no cost to the organization, empowers young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning (LGBTQ) to call the Trevor Lifeline if they need support or are considering suicide.
