On Saturday, March 2, MSC Cruises, the leading cruise line in Europe officially welcomed the latest addition to the Company’s modern fleet - MSC Bellissima. The Company’s new flagship was named in a glamourous and traditional maritime Naming Ceremony in the port of Southampton. A host of stars, VIPs, key travel partners and international media attended the event as well as top management from MSC Cruises and its parent company MSC Group. Gianluigi Aponte, MSC Group’s founder and executive chairman as well as the ship owner, attended together with the Aponte and Aponte-Vago families. MSC Cruises’ Godmother Sophia Loren officially named her 14th ship, which is fitting since the glamourous Hollywood legend is renowned for her style and elegance.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2018 (MTTS), the eagerly anticipated road rally for MINI owners hosted by MINI USA, kicked off this weekend from two separate locations on opposite sides of the country. Over the next five days, thousands of MINI owners will #DriveForMore to help raise money for charity partner Feeding America.
The two rally routes, each with more than 800 participants, started in Orlando, Fla., and Portland, Ore., on Saturday, July 14, and will meet in the middle at Keystone Report in Keystone, Colo., on July 20 for a weekend celebration of everything MINI. The bi-annual trek will cover more than 5,000 miles in total, traveling across America on state and county roads, stopping in 15 cities along the way.

A year following the award-winning debut of its first original travel experience programming, Carnival Corporation & plc(NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK), the world’s largest leisure travel company, today announced at the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Global Convention that its hit series have been extended for a second season on ABC stations and NBC. On Saturday, June 3, the latest wonder in the MSC Cruises fleet, MSC Meraviglia was christened in a glittering ceremony by international screen legend and godmother of all of MSC Cruises’ ships, Sophia Loren. At 171,598 GRT and with guest capacity of 5,714 (4,488 at double occupancy), MSC Meraviglia is the biggest ship to be built by a European ship owner, MSC Cruises, and also the biggest ship to come into service in 2017.
MSC Cruises, the Swiss-based world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and brand market leader in Europe, South America and South Africa, hosted the glamorous, high-profile event in Le Havre, with entertainment from top international performers and an exclusive gala dinner in the company of special guests, authorities, key partners from the travel industry, global media and top management from MSC Cruises and its parent company MSC Group. A year ago, Falaniko Penesa, 26, of Upolu, Apia, Samoa, finished second in the World Fireknife Championship, losing out to five-time champion Mikaele Oloa of Waialua, Hawaii.
Penesa spent the past year “practicing every day to make my moves flow” and the hard work paid off, as he won the 25th Annual World Fireknife Championship on Saturday night (May 13), beating out Oloa by one point on the combined scorecards of the seven judges. Kepanipaa Damaso of Waikoloa, Hawaii finished third.
Penesa, who performs at Hong Kong Disneyland, dazzled the sold-out crowd at the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Pacific Theater with an amazing routine that had him spinning, twirling and juggling one and two fireknives at lightning-fast speed, often behind his back and overhead.

Clayton, a Berkshire Hathaway company and one of the leading builders of manufactured, modular and site built homes, will feature architect Jeffrey Dungan’s Low Country floorplan from the Designer Series Tiny Homes collection on Saturday, May 6, at CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb. during Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Shareholders Meeting.
This year Berkshire Hathaway shareholders will be invited to tour the Low Country, a Clayton tiny home design from the Designer Series. These small modular homes are built indoors at a Clayton home building facility in Addison, Ala. specifically fitted to build Clayton Tiny Homes. The facility is ISO 14001 registered for green building practices, and the tiny homes are built to the International Residential Code (IRC). This small modular home is designed for permanent living and exemplifies the growing trend toward smarter living spaces with luxury amenities and clever storage solutions.

More than 17,000 women volunteers will come together starting Saturday in their local communities to help build or improve affordable homes alongside future homeowners as part of Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s 10th annual National Women Build Week. With the help of Lowe’s Heroes volunteers, they will build or improve 600 Habitat homes in nearly 50 states in just one week.
Lowe’s helped launch National Women Build Week in 2008 to empower women with construction skills and give them a platform to tackle affordable homeownership in their communities.
