In honor of its 50-year legacy at the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the iconic Caesars Palace celebrated its golden anniversary with an opulent birthday pool party, featuring a five-tier cake, champagne toast and a 10 minute fireworks extravaganza hosted by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay. The anniversary festivities continued on Saturday, Aug. 6 with a once in a lifetime gala headlined by world-renowned entertainers Tony Bennett, Jennifer Lopez, Howie Mandel, Wayne Newton, Donny & Marie Osmond, Matt Goss and The Righteous Brothers. Special Icon Awards were also presented to honorees that have helped shape Caesars Palace’s rich history, including Calvin Harris, Gordon Ramsay, Celine Dion, Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld and more.

The iconic Caesars Palace celebrated Independence Day Weekend by paying homage to its colorful history of hosting amazing daredevil stunts with a night jump by the Red Bull Air Force skydiving team in front of the famed resort on Sunday, June 3, followed by a colossal 13 ½ minute fireworks extravaganza.
The festive party began just before sundown with live entertainment on the iconic front fountains. Winner of “American Idol” season five, Taylor Hicks, got the patriotic party started with his popular song, “Seven Mile Breakdown,” followed by “Nineteen”. The roster of live entertainment also included cast members from ABSINTHE and the TSA Color Guard.
Synonymous with Las Vegas itself, this summer the world-renowned Caesars Palace® in Las Vegas is marking its 50th anniversary with a Summer of Caesars celebration beginning Friday, June 17 and extending throughout the year. The festivities will be highlighted with a weekend of celebration Aug. 5-6, 2016. Three-time Emmy nominated choreographer and dancer Travis Wall creates and calls on his dancing friends, including So You Think You Can Dance alum, to perform an original dance number in celebration of award-winning Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace\'s milestone first birthday. Upon opening, Bacchanal Buffet redefined the Las Vegas buffet with over 500 items prepared fresh daily in the $17 million buffet. Continuing on the trend of innovative approaches, the award winning buffet now has its own music video.
The sake was flowing and music was rocking in celebration of the debut of the world’s first Nobu Hotel Restaurant and Lounge Caesars Palace. Nobu Hospitality partners including Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, Meir Teper, Trevor Horwell and Struan McKenzie joined Caesars Palace in marking the completion and introduction of one of the hottest new boutique hotels featuring 181 rooms including 18 luxury suites.
