Ben altı yaşında bir kız iken Nebî salla`llahu aleyhi ve sellem beni akd ve nikâh eylemişti. (Üç sene sonra) biz Medîne`ye hicret ettik. Hâris İbn-i Hazrec oğullarının menziline indik. Müteâkıben ben, sıtmaya tutuldum. Bu cihetle saçım döküldü. (Hastalıktan kurtulduktan sonra) saçım gürleşti, uzayıp omuzlarıma döküldü. Bir kere ben, arkadaşlarımla berâber salıncakta oynarken annem Ümmü Rumân bana doğru geldi ve beni çağırdı. Ben de annemin yanına geldim. Beni ne edeceğini bilmiyordum. Annem elimi tuttu. Tâ evin kapısı önün (e geldiğimizde ora) da beni durdurdu. Ben de yorgunluktan kaba kaba soluyordum. Nihâyet soluğum biraz yatıştı. Sonra annem biraz su aldı. Onunla yüzümü, başımı sıvazladı. Sonra beni eve koydu. Evde Ensâr`dan birtakım kadınlar hazır bulunyordu. Bunlar bana: - Hayır ve bereket üzere geldin, hayırlı kısmet getirdin! di(ye alkışla) dılar. Annem beni bu kadınlara teslîm etti. Bunlar da benim kılığımı, kıyâfetimi düzlediler ve Resûlullah`a teslîm ettiler. Beni hiçbir şey sıkmadı. Ancak Resûlullah salla`llahu aleyhi ve sellem`i habersiz görünce sıkıldım. (Resûlullah bir sedir üzerine oturmuştu. Yanında Ensâr erkeklerinden, kadınlarından oturanlar vardı. Beni Resûlullah yanına oturttu). Ensâr kadınları beni Resûlullah`a takdîm ettiklerinde ben dokuz yaşında bir kızdım.

Today, Goody’s® Powder partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr. to surprise a local Charlotte fan with some “Fast Relief.” Kim Homme, a retired 25-year captain of the Charlotte Fire Department and longtime Dale Jr. fan, was treated to a special Goody’s® Fast pit stop experience along with a new set of Goodyear tires for her vehicle.
“Kim has done so much for her community and it’s great to return the favor by providing her with some Goody’s® Fast Relief,” said Earnhardt Jr. “This year’s Appreci88ion Tour has focused on giving back to the fans and thanks to Goody’s®, we were able to take it a step further today.”
Homme had no idea that Dale and the Goody’s® crew were stationed inside the Fire Department. Members of the Charlotte Douglas Airport Fire Station, where she currently works for the Air National Guard as an airport firefighter, were on hand to help celebrate the moment and watch the crew perform the Goody’s® Fast pit stop.

(NYSE: JWN) is celebrating its customers and their stories through a holiday campaign that thanks them called ‘Love, Nordstrom.’ The company is using the marketing campaign as a stage for larger-than-life love notes to thank customers for the special relationship they share. The campaign debuts today in the U.S. and Canada.

With this year’s campaign, Nordstrom is prioritizing a pure holiday spirit and expressing gratitude to connect emotionally with its customers in a special way. More than 30 real Nordstrom customers were photographed in Los Angeles, Nashville and Seattle and are featured in the national campaign that was produced in partnership with creative agency Partners & Spade.
“This holiday, we want to remember and thank the people who are most special to us at Nordstrom – our customers,” said Nordstrom Vice President of Creative Projects Olivia Kim. “We reached out to our employees and asked them to share some of their favorite customer stories. We met with as many people as we could, asked them to bring along some of the things that make up their signature style and took photos of them. It was so fun to connect with our customers who make us who we are. The result was our Love, Nordstrom campaign.”

With America’s nursing shortage and the soaring aging population, the nation’s largest senior living provider has launched a student loan reimbursement program with the goal of attracting more nurses to work in assisted living. Brookdale’s initiative comes as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects the country’s nurse shortfall will exceed one million by 2022. People 65 and above are expected to comprise 16 percent of America’s population in 2020 and nearly 20 percent in 2030, compared to 13 percent in 2010, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Brookdale operates more than 1,120 senior living communities in 47 states.
At Brookdale assisted living communities, nurses are hired as health and wellness directors, overseeing clinical services at a community including setting standards, leading health and wellness programming, and managing care associates. “This is a different kind of path than hospital nursing and it is a very important one,” said Kim Estes, senior vice president of clinical services for Brookdale. “Rather than providing hands-on care, these nurses shape the overall quality and content of care their community’s seniors receive on a daily basis.”
