Findings from the large scale collection of data will be used to identify trends and potential risks to inform training protocols which will be publically shared to encourage best practices.
Players from the Washington Youth Soccer Elite Player Development (EPD) program (U12-U18) will wear the Triax Technologies Smart Impact Monitors (SIM™) as they compete in the prestigious US Youth Soccer Region IV Olympic Development Program (ODP) Championships January 8–11 in Phoenix, AZ, and will continue throughout their careers with Washington Youth Soccer.
Triax SIM™ devices are worn in comfortable, unobtrusive headbands to record head impacts, and transmit data in real time from the field to a smart phone or tablet on the sideline. This cutting edge technology allows players to track up to 180 individual head impacts measuring the G–force of direct hits and jarring through linear and rotational measures.

As part of its mission to help cat owners solve tough litter box odors, Tidy Cats® recently gave one cat owner a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a Littervention. Devoted cat owner Ricci Rivera, together with his cat named Bella of San Tan Valley, AZ, were named the Grand Prize Winner among hundreds of entries to the Tidy Cats® with Glade™ Tough Odor Solutions Littervention Contest. In his entry, Rivera attributed his need for a Littervention due to his home’s open floor plan, which can carry overwhelming litter box odors throughout the house. Inspired by its surrounding southwestern landscape, the Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB) at The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix is one of the most innovative construction projects in the United States utilizing predominately recycled copper. Using nearly 6,000 copper panels and more than 10,000 copper parts, this 268,000 square-foot building consists of six stories of administration and faculty offices, lecture halls, learning studios, flexible classrooms, clinical suites, gross anatomy facilities, laboratories and conference rooms.
